Local investigations of last week's police shooting in Pasco are ongoing.

Pasco police are reviewing it internally. The neighboring town of Kennewick is investigating. And the FBI is watching over the Kennewick police department's investigation.

Now community leaders of Pasco are asking for a federal investigation by the Department of Justice - though it's not yet clear if they'll get their wish.

Pasco police shot and killed Antonio Zambrano-Montes last Tuesday. Witnesses say he had been throwing rocks at a busy intersection.

Law enforcement have said they will update the public Thursday .
