Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump plans to return to Washington and Oregon at the end this month. The Washington Post reports Trump will hold high dollar fundraisers in Portland and Seattle as part of a west coast swing. He’s also expected to hold public events.

State Senator Don Benton is Trump’s Washington state chairman.

“The tentative plan right now is to do a fundraising event or two and in addition do a public rally of some sort so that the folks get a chance to see Mr. Trump up close and personal and hear from his own words what his plans are for our country,” Benton said.

Benton said the dates and locations of Trump’s visit to the Northwest will be released later. Trump campaigned in Washington and Oregon in May.

The last time the two states went for a Republican presidential candidate was Ronald Reagan in 1984.
